Serial #: 245579

Weight: 8lb, 10.5oz

This Fender Telecaster Bass features an ash body with a bolt-on maple neck. It is equipped with a single coil pickup with volume and tone controls and a 2-saddle bridge. This bass plays great with comfortable action and the frets low, but in nice shape with light wear. Please see our inspection notes below for a better understanding of the overall condition.

  • The pickguard is unoriginal and appears to be an early Paul Chandler guard.
  • The pickup is original and dates to 7/11/68.
  • The pots are original and dated to 1966.
  • There are chips and scratches throughout along with a good amount of finish checking. There is also staining in the fingerboard around the last couple frets and some corrosion on the control plate.
  • The bridge cover is included; the pickup cover and thumb rest are missing.

It comes with the original hard shell case in good condition. There is a tear in the inside top padding and the side latch springs are dead. The latches still function.
