FENDER DESIGNED NOISELESS PICKUPS Designed in-house at Fender, the dual coil design of these alnico pickups eliminates unwanted noise from the signal while retaining tonal richness, detail and punch. 9V ACTIVE PREAMP Powered by a 9-volt battery, this preamp includes controls for volume, pickup blend, tone, and treble/bass boost. ACTIVE/PASSIVE SWITCH With a tone knob that functions in both active and passive settings, the electronics include a switch on the control plate to engage the preamp for added bass and treble boost control. BOUND FINGERBOARD The bound fingerboard not only adds vintage charm to this instrument, but also improves visibility of the side markers in dark playing environments. HIMASS BRIDGE This top-load bridge features a plate with more mass that adds resonance and sustain while the 5 beefed up saddles seat nicely inside saddle slots for rock solid intonation and stability. VINTAGE-TINTED NECK With gloss finish for slick playing feel, this neck has a subtle tint for a throwback look.
