This guitar is in FAR better condition than excellent; dare I use the "M" word"? It's that clean. No wear, scratches, buckle marks, tool marks or marks on the neck from the player wearing rings. Like it came from the store with its original Hamer hang tag, Certificate of Authenticity {signed by both the Hamer founders, minus Mr. Hamer who left the company many years before this guitar was made}. Also has another company flier that came with it originally. Hardshell case is original and has just a bit of minor wear to the covering in one spot, but the interior is like new and all the latches lock securely. Guitar has a gorgeous finish Hamer called a "59 burst". Very nice flame figure in the thick maple top. Pictures do not do the flame justice. Body is bound on the top; up the neck and the headstock is as well: "Bound and Crowned". Pearl inlays on the rosewood fretboard and so is the lettering on the headstock. This is what made the Studio Custom one of their top tier models.

This guitar has a serial number that dates it to 2006, so it is twenty years old now. Frets show almost no wear at all {see pictures}. Pickups are Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAFs, which are my favorites from Dimarzio, they are so versatile they can do it all except for the darker shades of the highest gain death metal. Truss rod turns freely, plenty of room left. I am only selling this guitar to fund the purchase of a 12 string Rickenbacker that is available to me {and only me!} I am a huge Byrds fan and would like to own another one after 43 years of not having one. Nothing else sounds like a 12 string Rick. But make no mistake, this Hamer is a damn fine guitar! I have owned it for some years, but it was too nice to play out, so I just played it here at the house and only occasionally. New owner is going to be thrilled to own this mint Studio Custom.
