Let us introduce the artistic SJ-200 VINE, crafted by Gibson Custom Shop master luthier Len Ferguson.
His guitars feature artistic inlay work, including plant motifs that evoke a sense of vitality.
Len Ferguson credits his mother, a draftsman and sculptor, with influencing his artistic sensibilities.

- The powerful, lifelike art of vines

One of the defining features of Len Ferguson's guitars is the artistic vine inlay that spans the entire fingerboard and the carved pickguard.
The iridescent vine inlays set against the ebony are breathtaking at first sight.

The large tortoiseshell pickguard, bordered with white celing, is adorned with hand-carved vines, accentuated by white ink.

The finely grained spruce body features abalone purfling and rosette, making the SJ body stand out.

The sides and back are crafted from beautiful flame maple and, like the top, are trimmed in abalone.
The back strip features Pattern A, a design seen around 1940.

The ebony open mustache bridge is typically inlaid with only mother-of-pearl, but this one features abalone accents surrounding the square inlay.
I think this is a feature that is unique to custom guitars.

The neck is made of flame maple with a rosewood center piece for a three-piece construction.

The headstock features the Gibson script logo and a gorgeous vine inlay for a dazzling shine.
The bell-shaped truss rod cover is crafted from mother-of-pearl and carefully chamfered.
The headstock is surrounded by multi-binding.

The tuning machines are Waverly open-back pegs, and the gold buttons are individually engraved with vines.
This guitar offers a different kind of luxury than the Imperial or Waffleback models.

This is a masterpiece with a different appeal from the classic SJ-200.
Although there are some small scratches from playing and weather checking, there are no noticeable scratches or dents and the guitar is in very good condition.

This is the kind of item that will make you feel like you own a special guitar.

[Condition]
- There are signs of picking, scuffs, and weathering, but the guitar is in excellent condition with no cracks or noticeable scratches.
- There are no muffled notes or buzzing, and it plays well.
- String height at the 12th fret: 6th string 2.9mm, 1st string 2.0mm
- Saddle extension: Approximately 2.0mm-3.5mm
