With the SE Chleo, PRS delivers a modern high-performance electric guitar in collaboration with DragonForce guitarist Herman Li, which transfers many features of the exclusive Limited model to a more affordable price level. The SE version combines the high-quality PRS craftsmanship with the uncompromising demands of the shred virtuoso and is aimed at anyone looking for an expressive electric guitar for tough terrain! The mahogany body has a maple top with a fine curly maple veneer and comes in an eye-catching satin finish. Thanks to the ergonomic contouring, the instrument offers a low weight, perfect balance and high playing comfort, which is ideal for long sessions or live sets. The maple neck with flat chleo profile lies smoothly in the hand and allows effortless solo runs over the ebony fingerboard with 20" radius and the striking Eclipse Dragon inlays.

In terms of sound, the CE Chleo relies on the tried-and-tested combination of two active Fishman Fluence Signature humbuckers and an Omniforce Herman Li single coil in the middle position, which covers a wide sound spectrum from transparent clean sounds to aggressive high-gain lead tones. Control is via volume and tone controls with push/pull function as well as a 5-way switch, allowing versatile pickup combinations to be realised!

For maximum performance, the guitar is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Locking tremolo, which guarantees precise tuning stability even with extreme whammy bar use. The equipment is complemented by PRS tuners and locking saddles. The smoked black hardware underlines the overall visual appearance of the instrument and, in combination with its Satin-Finish, makes it a classy piece of jewellery that is a real eye-catcher on any stage.
