Beautifully restored Sonor Champion from the 1970s in a vibrant yellow, black, and white veneer. The shells are made of 6-ply beechwood, and the bass drum is even 9-ply.

There are scratches inside the shells, and the veneer wasn't glued perfectly everywhere, so it's warped and lifting in some places. The slotted tension rods have been replaced with square-head tension rods. The elegant black hoops fabulously complement the colorful veneer. Overall, the set shows some signs of wear, such as pitting on the lugs, small paint chips on the tom hoops, and the bass hoops are bent. Despite these issues, this top-of-the-line Sonor product from the 1970s can be acquired as a beautiful, unique piece. Only the floor tom is badged.
