Part of a collection in the shop on consignment: Hard to find 1982 Squier JV Series '57 Stratocaster. Serial number JV21370. Made in Japan. Date stamped on the end of the neck and in the neck pocket. Neck pocket also stamped with red "EX 57" (Export model). I'm not knowledgeable enough to definitively say whether the pick ups and electronics are original. The pick ups do have the rubber tubing at the screws instead of springs. The tape on the plastic Japanese wiring looks original and is the same as some others I've seen. It has a 5-way switch (DM-50?). Everything works as it should, but I have no idea how old the strings are. For sure needs a good set up to bring out its potential. Cosmetically it's in good condition. It does have some small scuffs and dings around the edges but nothing too severe. The bridge has tarnish and light rust as do a few of the pick guard screws. There are no cracks or stress marks around the neck pocket. The weight is shown in the pictures. Includes a tweed hard case. More pictures available on request.
