A stunningly clean 1952 Gibson ES-140T in all original condition. The finish has only fine checking lines, and the binding has aged to a beautiful cream. The original P90 pickup still has plenty of bite left in it, and the electronics are completely original. The small D shaped neck is amazingly comfortable to play with a nice low action. It even sounds good unplugged.
The ES-145t was introduced in 1951 as a student model, featuring a super comfortable 3/4 size body. But this body style puts it closer in size to that of a Les Paul than a traditional Gibson hollowbody. Because its run lasted only four years, this model has become increasingly rare. This is a beautiful example of the ES-145t in excellent condition.
Prior to shipping, the guitar will be fully set up by Stringed Instrument Services in Arcadia, CA.
