Named for the scenic 290 highway that winds past the Collings shop though the Texas Hill Country, the 290 is a modern day tribute to the original working man's rock'n roll guitar. 

Sometimes simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Featuring a single Lollar high wind dog ear P90 pickup, the 290 DC S offers unhindered access to all 22 frets and a wide range of tonal possibilities. Subtle manipulations of the volume and tone controls offer pristine clean tones to deep, warm jazz sounds and everything in between. There are few bases the 290 DC S cannot cover.
