Reviving a legend: The Schaffer-Vega Diversity System Boost!

SoloDallas proudly presents the SVDS Boost, a faithful recreation of the legendary boost circuit first introduced in 1975 as part of the Schaffer-Vega Diversity System (SVDS) wireless unit.

Originally found as a 1/4” headphone jack for monitoring purposes, this feature quickly became a game-changer for guitarists and bassists. By connecting their instruments to the headphone output, players could achieve a powerful signal boost of up to 30dB!

This accidental discovery revolutionized the sound of rock music, with icons like Angus Young, David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, and Carlos Santana using it to define their tones.

The SVDS Boost revives this groundbreaking technology, recreating what may have been the first full-frequency boost heard on stage!

A tone that instantly transports you to the golden era of rock!

Unlike standard clean boosts, the SVDS Boost adds vintage coloration and rich harmonics, evoking the golden era of rock.

Its unique "Goalpost" EQ design amplifies the extreme ends of the frequency spectrum while preserving the integrity of your midrange.

With up to 30dB of boost, the SVDS unlocks new tonal dimensions, delivering vibrant harmonics, soaring sustain, and even controlled feedback.

Place it after your overdrive, distortion, or fuzz pedals, and experience unparalleled dynamic response.

It restores low-end fidelity often lost with mid-boost pedals, making your entire rig sound fuller and more expressive!
