The Synergy Friedman DS Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. It provides a versatile, touch-sensitive classic rock sound with a range from crunch to lush lead, and its design allows it to be swapped out for other modules to change the amplifier's core character.

CATHODE SELECT SWITCH
The Synergy Friedman DS Preamp Module features a three position switch on the PCB which allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.

• Emulates the Friedman Dirty Shirley: The module's core function is to replicate the sound and feel of the Friedman Dirty Shirley tube amplifier head.
• Two Channels: It features two distinct channels, allowing for a versatile setup with one channel set for a bit of grit and another for a driven lead tone.
• All-Tube Design: The module uses two 12AX7 tubes to deliver a harmonically rich and authentic tone.
• Versatile Gain Structure: It can produce a wide range of British-style gain, from JTM-style crunch to 800-style grind, and cleans up well with the guitar's volume knob.
• Modular System: It's designed to fit into a Synergy preamp dock, allowing guitarists to easily swap out modules to change the amp's tone and voicing.
