Gibson EB-2w – All Original, Great Condition from 1969

Up for sale is a Gibson EB-2w in good condition – a true vintage classic with tons of character and thunderous tone.

• All original and fully functional
• Currently strung with La Bella 760FL flats for that deep, woody thump
• Includes a non-original but perfectly fitting Epiphone hardshell case for safe transport and storage

A previous owner installed a thumbrest that has since been removed – you can still see the small screw holes, but they don’t affect playability or structural integrity.

This bass absolutely roars. The low end is massive – thick, warm, and round, easily the biggest you’ll ever hear. Flip the tone switch, and the sound instantly tightens up, cutting through with a more modern, articulate voice.

A stunning piece of Gibson bass history, equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in a serious collection. If you’re after that legendary EB-2 punch and vibe, this one delivers.
