The MK4 uses 16 of Novation's RGB-backlit FSR (Force Sensitive Resistor) pads with both velocity sensitivity and polyphonic aftertouch, so pressing harder after a hit bends, swells, or modulates each note independently. If theory has ever slowed you down, the MK4 fixes that. Three Scale Modes — Snap, Filter, and Easy — lock you into any of 30 scales so wrong notes are corrected, muted, or remapped in real time. Three Chord Modes (Fixed, User, and Chord Map) let you store up to 16 chords across the pads and trigger full progressions with one finger, while the onboard Chord Detector names what you play on the OLED.
