Meet your new friend. The Martin 000E Retro Plus Mahogany is a real Martin—a genuine guitar that isn't your grandparents' guitar, but one that might one day be your grandchildren's. Inspired by our legendary flagship 18-style models, this acoustic-electric 000 combines balanced tone and iconic design with cutting-edge craftsmanship. Its roasted solid spruce top is thermally aged for increased resonance and beautifully aged tone, delivering the rich, broken-in tone of a vintage instrument from the very first note. This premium feature, long reserved for our Authentic and Modern Deluxe series, is now available for the first time in the Road series. With solid mahogany back and sides, spruce scalloped X-bracing, a Performing Artist neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge, this guitar has everything you'd expect from an acoustic. It's even equipped with Martin E1 electronics, with a built-in tuner and controls for perfect live sound. Ideal for gigging or for taking your first steps into high-end acoustics, this guitar offers the best quality in its class at an unbeatable price for experienced musicians, and an endless source of inspiration for all who buy it. Be warned, you won't be able to live without it, because nothing beats a Martin.
