The Boden Classic NX series is a classic interpretation of modern Boden design.

When .strandberg*'s revolutionary Boden series quietly emerged in the underground guitar community 12 years ago, it ushered in one of the most significant revolutions in the guitar industry in a long time. Headless guitars continue to thrive in the 21st century, stronger than ever, fueled by guitar players determined to forge ahead rather than cling to the traditions of the past.

The Boden series began in 2010 with the first Made-to-Measure guitar (a fully custom .strandberg* guitar), and has undergone numerous design iterations. Since then, limited quantities have been produced in custom shops in the United States, Sweden, and Japan, with the first fixed lineup being produced in 2015. The Boden OS series is now manufactured in Asian countries, reaching a wider audience of guitar players worldwide. The resounding success of the Boden OS series has led to the launch of Original, Prog, Fusion, Metal, Classic, and numerous artist models, which have achieved even greater success and penetrated all mainstream guitar markets, including the United States, Europe, Far East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and South America. The Boden series has truly become a global guitar industry-changing phenomenon.

Designed for musicians with a more open-minded approach, yet deeply rooted in traditional musical backgrounds, the Classi NX series features a lightweight solid alder body, a carbon-reinforced maple neck, and a maple or rosewood fingerboard. The Classi NX series' solid-body construction offers a punchier, mid-range-focused acoustic signature compared to other chambered Boden NX models. The under-pickguard treatment and integrated tremolo unit create a more traditional overall tone, ideal for players of classic rock, blues, jazz, and pop. The nickel-covered Suhr™ Thornbucker Plus humbucker and Suhr™ V60LP single-coil pickups combine to create an authentic, timeless vintage sound with added bite and refinement, making them suitable for a wide range of genres and playing styles.

Like all Boden models, the Classic NX series acoustic sound is characterized by a lively, balanced tone, offering excellent articulation for both rhythm and lead playing. At the same time, the alder solid-body construction delivers enhanced midrange punch. Tonally, it offers an open sound with a pronounced midrange, a natural high-sustain decay, and a solid, well-defined low end. The patented EndurNeck™ provides comfort and stability for the player's arms and wrists, allowing you to play longer without fatigue, improving your technique and allowing you to focus more on your performance and the music. The new Rev 7 hardware allows for quick string changes and setup, keeping your guitar in top condition at all times. And the new Venture gig bag lets you take your Boden anywhere with comfort, ease, and durable protection in virtually any environment.

The Boden Classic NX series is for the forward-thinking musician who is unconstrained by convention, yet deeply committed to the timeless sound and style of classic instruments. By embracing the best designs of the past alongside new concepts like headless design, multi-scale construction, the all-new EndurNeck™, and aircraft-grade aluminum hardware, Boden designs have long been admired and continue to evolve and expand into new territories, helping modern musicians stay at their best.

Heavy-duty hardware for easier maintenance, a new neck heel shape and arm contour for added comfort, new sustainably sourced tonewoods for a better sound, and several cosmetic tweaks that improve the overall look of the iconic Boden design all seamlessly integrate to create a major update to the Boden series. The Boden NX Series is truly the next generation of Boden models, delivering an even higher level of performance and playing experience.
