Collectors Series Maple snare drums are the standard from which all other DW snare drums are measured. This classy DW Collectors snare drum – finished in an Exotic Olive Ash Burl veneer – has been crafted from hand-selected North American Maple and is fitted with chrome hardware. This 9-ply VLT shell features John Good's new favorite 333 ply layup topped with 60-degree bearing edges for optimal resonance and attack. The lacquered interior is an amazing little detail that adds a touch of brightness to a snare with a full tonal spectrum and plenty of body. The Collectors Series maple is a workhorse wood snare drum that will fit any musical genre. Check it out at the Drum Center of Portsmouth!
