This cutaway Grand Auditorium, our most versatile body shape, pairs Indian rosewood back and sides, featuring a Kona edgeburst, with a natural Lutz spruce top. Indian rosewood, one of the most musically rich tonewoods, yields deep lows and bright, sparkling treble notes that ring out with bell-like clarity. Its Lutz spruce top produces a broad dynamic range with extra volume, projection and sustain thanks to tone-enhancing V-Class bracing inside. The body is finished with our smooth, noise-reducing Silent Satin finish and has chamfered edges, a Curve Wing ebony bridge, and a beveled armrest and cutaway. Even the fretboard has rolled edges for a more comfortable playing experience.
