I have personally owned more than 400 guitars, many of them very valuable. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sounding of them all ! I repeat, without any doubt, and I guarantee that it will astonish you !!! I am only selling it because I have to buy a very expensive guitar. This is the only reason.

Greetings and thank you for your interest in this listing for a stunning 1988-1989 U.S.A. made, Fender ’57 American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster guitar!

Beautiful, really beautiful old school guitar from the “golden era”. This Strat has superb playability and a phenomenal sound!

COLLECTOR GRADE neck in awesome/almost IMMACULATE condition! It is smooth, very fast and straight as an arrow. Please, take a look at the finish: it has taken on a gorgeous amber hue over all these years. Original frets, they are in superb condition!

The original vintage white finish on the body has beautifully yellowed into a sought-after cream like a Malmsteen Strat. It proudly shows that natural VINTAGE patina; few marks on the body but, overall, in more than EXCELLENT condition.

The date on the neck heel is difficult to read. The red stamp is very faded and dates to 1988 or 1989. The black stamp in the neck pocket is clear and is dated 16 February 1989.

The three original CTS matching pots date the 27th week of 1988. It is therefore a model from late 1988/early 1989.

As you can see from the photos, the original capacitor has been replaced with a very high quality one and a copper shielding screen has been placed under the pickguard. The final result is phenomenal!

Comes with the pictured original Fender tweed hard case which is in pristine shape, a short tremolo whammy bar, the original vintage Fender Strap, and some case candy including 2 original springs, the Fender tremolo arm tension spring and the original allen wrench.

The photos, are part of the description of this sale. Please, take all the time you need to look at them.

I am aware of the high value of this instrument, and for this reason, I am also willing to personally transport it to major European cities. Please, just contact me and we can work on it
