The EMG 40HZ is a modern passive 5-string bass pickup featuring a dual-coil humbucking design for low noise and plenty of output. . Its ceramic magnets produce very pronounced and focused mids, as well as a fast and quick bass response. The strength of the magnets allows the pickup to retain articulation and The active three-band EQ gives you separate active controls for bass, mids and treble, allowing you to cut or boost the frequency bands.
