2024 PRS Eddie's Guitars Wood Library DGT - Fire Red Smokeburst

The PRS Eddie’s Guitars Wood Library DGT (David Grissom Trem) / Mahogany Neck – Fire Red Smokeburst is a masterful blend of boutique craftsmanship, versatile performance, and striking visual appeal. Its Maple Ten Top presents beautifully figured grain under the fiery depth of the Fire Red Smokeburst finish, perfectly complemented by a resonant Mahogany back that delivers warm, full-bodied tone with rich sustain and musical clarity. This combination provides a powerful, expressive voice that responds dynamically to every nuance of your playing.

The guitar’s Mahogany neck is paired with a luxurious Ebony fretboard, creating a perfect balance of warmth and snap, while J-Bird inlays add subtle elegance to the fingerboard. The DGT neck shape, designed in collaboration with David Grissom, offers an exceptional playing experience with effortless comfort and precision across all positions. With 22 jumbo frets and PRS’s 25" scale length, this DGT model allows for smooth bends, articulate leads, and fluid chord work, making it a versatile instrument for both studio and stage.

Tone is the heart of the DGT design. Equipped with DGT Bass and Treble pickups, the guitar delivers the signature Grissom sound: rich harmonic depth, dynamic response, and articulate clarity. The controls include two volume knobs, a push/pull tone control, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector, allowing players to sculpt their sound with fine detail. Set up with 11’s and an unwound G, the guitar offers a smooth, expressive feel perfect for blues, rock, and modern fusion.

Premium hardware ensures stability and performance. The PRS Tremolo provides expressive pitch modulation with reliable return-to-zero performance, and PRS Phase III locking tuners with faux bone buttons deliver flawless tuning security. Nickel hardware adds a refined vintage aesthetic, complementing the Fire Red Smokeburst finish. The guitar is accompanied by a Hard Black Paisley Case, offering protection and style worthy of its Wood Library pedigree.

Combining exquisite craftsmanship, sophisticated tonewoods, and signature DGT versatility, the PRS Wood Library DGT Mahogany Neck in Fire Red Smokeburst is a performance-driven instrument that inspires creativity and elevates every musical moment.
