Select Hickory

The Vic Firth American Classic Sticks are made with carefully selected hickory wood, which creates an exceptionally dense stick with little to no flex for a more pronounced and clear sound. Hickory is also impressively shock-withstanding and is therefore much more durable than other woods. A pair of Classics would definitely be harder to break than most.

Back-cut Tips

The back-cut tips on this line-up are great for marching drummers and trapset drummers alike! The new tips are designed for increased cymbal response, adding clarity and articulation to the overall sound, while aiding in control of the stick rebound in faster sections.

Perfectly Weighted

The weight on these sticks is phenomenal, and really improves faster playing while helping to keep a consistent technique when playing slower/more open licks. Extremely versatile, the American Classic series has options for all drummers of all types.
