This fabulous guitar is the #2 prototype of the John Lennon J-160E Sunburst. There were 3 prototypes handcrafted exclusively in Bozeman, Montana by Gibson Guitar's world-class luthiers in 1999.

Prototype #1 was sent to Yoko Ono for her approval and mine was a backup model built in case of shipping damage or loss  to the first. There was one more prototype built, and that was originally sent to Dave's Guitar in Wisconsin.

See picture of the letter evidencing the above information by the General Manager Gibson Guitar, Corp. - Montana Division. Also see the picture of the Certificate of Authenticity.

This is the #2 prototype. There were 250 limited edition J-160E’s produced in 1999 after the 3 prototypes.

The guitar has no damage and is in mint condition. Rarely played.

Don’t miss an opportunity to own an extraordinary piece of history.

I fully guarantee this guitar to be as stated and represented herein.
