The Byzance Foundry Reserve series is a special selection of cymbals. MEINL's cymbal craftsmen have hammered in layers of tone and nuance to create works of art with a rich, musical sound. But that's only half the story; the unique hand-hammered marks add a visually stunning touch. Additional hammering creates multiple deep depressions in the surface, which, combined with full-length razing on both sides, produce a clear, dry stick attack and a rich, supporting bass.

＜Byzance Foundry Reserve Flat Ride 21＞
The long-awaited Flat Ride has been added to the Byzance Foundry Reserve line. After extensive testing with various R&D cymbals, the cymbal is finally available in a 21-inch size. This Medium Thin cymbal is slightly heavier than the Light Ride, and utilizes the Foundry Reserve manufacturing process of extensive hand hammering to create the base and meticulously razing the entire surface. The bell has been eliminated for a flat finish, resulting in a lower overall volume but a clear ping sound and sharp attack.

Size: 21 inches
