The very top of the range, handmade in Japan truly a masterpiece of an instrument. The Spinex pickups sound incredible and with the push/push coil taps give a whole host of tonal options.

One of the most resonant guitars I have ever held, the through neck construction really tells.

This guitar was refurbished by Martyn Booth back in 2005 (when he was the guitar specialist for Yamaha in the UK) and has remained almost unused since. Martyn went on to develop the MSG Image guitar, therefore condition wise it is very nearly mint, having had all officially Yamaha hardware replacement parts (as pictured). There have been new schaller tuners fitted at some point in the past, a little paint wear on the pickup covers and the odd tiny impression in the finish here and there, it looks almost new. Frets are barely worn, neck is lovely. Weighs in at 10lbs 6oz.
