The Fender® American Vintage II series remarkably revisits the revolutionary designs that changed the course of music history. With their bodies, necks, and hardware faithful to vintage models, premium finishes, and pickups configured according to the original instrument's year, the guitars and basses in this series provide you with the authentic sound and craftsmanship of Fender.

With its alluring lines, vibrant tones, and innovative tremolo-equipped bridge, the new 1954 Fender Stratocaster® was welcomed as a true phenomenon, an instrument that no one had seen before. By 1957, the Stratocaster had become a mid-century benchmark.

Featuring a trio of Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups, sculpted body lines, and a particularly comfortable "V"-shaped neck topped with a 7.25" (184 mm) radius maple fingerboard, the American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster reproduces the characteristic sound and feel of the original. The guitar also sports a period-correct bridge with synchronized tremolo, a cold-rolled steel block, and pressed steel saddles, as well as "Fender Deluxe" inline tuners and a single-ply pickguard.

Available in three finishes – Two-Tone Sunburst and Sea Foam Green on alder models, and Vintage Blonde on the ash model – with nitrocellulose lacquer, the American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster celebrates a true Fender icon.

The instruments in the American Vintage II series are direct descendants of Fender's original models. They are designed for musicians who especially appreciate the brand's characteristic sound and feel and are made with impeccable quality. These are Fender electric guitars and basses in their purest form: Fender American Vintage II, legendary instruments.
