Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 Soapbar Neck Pickup - Black
Summary

Capture the sweet, weathered neck position single coil tone of an old 52 Goldtop with our period correct Antiquity P90 Soapbar.

Description

Our Antiquity P90 Soapbar uses two specially calibrated alnico 2 bar magnets, and a custom coil wind to deliver the sweet, vintage correct growl of an early 50s Les Paul neck pickup. Chords are full and round sounding, and single notes have a sweet, musical, singing quality. When you remove our hand aged soapbar cover, youll find the same hand fabricated bobbin, plain enamel mag wire, and flatback tape that was made in Kalamazoo during the early days. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for any standard Gibson P90 sized soapbar route, and is available in black or cream aged covers.

Imagine the pickups out of an old '52 gold top or a'59 ES-330. By removing the cover you'll find the samehand-fabricated bobbins, wire and "flatback" tape thatwas used in the originals. Two specially calibratedDun-Aged Alnico II magnets are attached to a precisionmetal spacer which transfers the magnetic field to thestrings via six fillister head pole pieces. The "soapbar"version is available with black or Black covers. Allversions have an authoritative, vintage tone.
