The combo is a great if your needing one bit off kit, and works great with getting paired up with another cab at a later stage.

Admittedly a little heavier than moving a separate head and cab about, but is a great option for many users.

Our money would be on a separate cab and head for ease of movement and also cab choice these amps love dissimilar speaker setups, work great with two 1x12 cabs.

Independent duel volume and gain controls for each Chanel are a game changer in a Marshall style amp. Your not held back trying to balance gain against master volume.
That’s the killer with old Marshall designs, but they hadent worked out to do it better back then, and no one wanted a quiet amp, so going balls to the wall was what folks wanted.
