1) K201 - Hybrid Textures

"Hybrid Textures" delivers a wealth of expressive synthetic textures and is designed to work in any musical genre.  You’ll find powerful classic synth emulations, evocative, complex digital textures and a collection of unique timbres created especially to exploit the sound making capabilities of the K2000 to its fullest. Sounds include “Wave Synquence,” “FuzzSax,” “New Shaper,” “Mella Tron,” “Vectoring 2,” “Disaster,” “Hybrid Flute,” “Was Buzz,” “Mutant Brass” and more.

2) K202 - Modern Synthesis

"Modern Synthesis" is a mind-blowing excursion into electronia, featuring film, industrial, synth and effect textures. These distinctive sounds are also melodic and immediately playable, delivering a palette of tonal possibilities from the subtle to the outlandish. You’ll also find this bank to be an excellent study in advanced programming techniques for the K2000, and if you’re interested in programming your own sounds, here’s an opportunity to learn from the best. Sounds include “Addicted,” “Mr. Sinister,” “Dream Piano,” “Organic,” “Sitar Bells,” “Ether Guitar,” “Twilight Chime” and more.

3) K203 - Stage and Studio

"Stage & Studio" provides 100 distinct programs of synth, keyboard and top 40 timbres for live and studio applications—all the basic workhorse sounds maximizing your K2000’s V.A.S.T. real-time synthesis capabilities, for control of each sound via aftertouch, mod wheel and controller slider. Every sound utilizes some or all of these controllers for control over the character of the sound. Thus, many sounds are capable of producing distinctly different timbres or envelope articulations, enabling one program to have more than one application! Sounds include “Analog Tight,” “DX7 Bass,” “Chorus Piano,” “Dr. Clav,” “RockinRanks” and many more.

4) K204 - Radical Film Textures

"Radical Film Textures" goes where no Kurzweil has gone before!  This bank features visually evocative fare suitable for soundtrack, experimental and new age applications. Whether you’re looking for sweeping atmospheric “vector”-style patches, brutal industrial effects, or densely textured “soundscapes,” this collection is loaded with the kind of sonic esoterica you’ll need to kickstart your creative juices when you sit down to score your next cue! Sounds include “Monstropithicus,” “Plastic Chimes,” “1950’s SciFi,” “SuperScratch,” “Yacht Docking,” “Metalvox” and many more.
