I have this listed as "very good" but note that there is a warp to the cymbal that I spent several closeups up there trying to demonstrate (it's really hard to just pick spots, so I just kind of went around the cymbal snapping photos). It is a 20" pre serial, 80s era, engraved stamp Avedis Zildjian Medium Ride and it weighs about 2500 grams (the metal has some flexibility to it despite the relative weight, so the aforementioned warp ends up being a demonstration of this flexibility more than some glaring negative). I am not sure if the warp is factory or not. It has no nicks, it has no cracks, and it has no keyholing. It has some mild but fairly obvious discoloration on the topside (pic 3 shows an example of this) but this discoloration is actually not so obvious in person (the cymbal looks quite nice overall.. not really used much). MY OPINION ON SOUND AND BACK TO THE WARP: So, as I see it the flexibility has as much impact on the sound as any warping.. and some combination of the two gives the crash element a slight trashiness and whooshy darkness/reverb (overall the crash is not overly loud and pretty crashable and good).. and the flexibility gives the tap a little "bounce" (the stick kind of jumps on the ride like a trampoline and the tap has a certain wobble to it.. it is a mid-range pitch that rides somewhere between the 'light ping' and 'glassy tah'.. kind of in ringo territory)
