1961 Vintage Fender Super Amp. The Classic Brownface Sound!!! 2 x 10" Classic Fender Combo. Light Brown Original Tolex is in overall good condition for an amp of this vintage. It does have some small rubs, bumps, bruises and some small tears that go thru to the wood from normal use and cartage (see pics). The oxblood grille cloth was replaced along with the "fender logo". The speakers are 2 Eminence Vintage Alnico Legend 10”. The original handle broke and it was replaced with a blackface style handle. I have since removed the blackface handle and replaced it with a period correct repro Fender handle. This however left two holes where the old replacement handle was once added (see pic). One knob (on the presence pot) is a Fender Repro Brown Cupcake Knob. The power cable was converted to 3 prong. I was told that before I purchased it, it had a transformer replaced, tubes replaced and some capacitors replaced only for maintenance and to keep it running properly. One of the transformers is a Mercury Magnetics FBS-0 ToneClone. This is supposed to be a replica of the hard to find original transformer.It has a new fender Tremelo Footswitch. This was a gigging amp prior to us acquiring it for our studio. It still has the original "Petteruti's Twin City Music House" sticker on the faceplate. To restate the history as I know it: This was a one owner gigging amp from new until the 80's. It has only been used sparingly for studio work  since. I recently restored the cosmetics to return it to its original look and luster. It now looks good and sounds even better. This amp is revered as one of Fender's Finest combo amplifiers.
