Stevie played his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. This is our SRV Option Retube Kit for the Bogner Goldfinger 54 PHI amps. This kit uses a JJ Electronic 5751 for V1, a standard ECC83S for V2 along with a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter.

This kit uses premium matched pairs of the JJ Electronic 6L6GC's and JJ 6V6S's for power. The 6L6GC's are a classic 6L6 sounding tube with big lows, smooth mids and crystalline highs. What sets them apart is their low end clarity, mid-range detail and very clear highs without being overbearing or harsh.

The JJ 6V6S's are a Classic low power 6V6 tones kicked up a notch! Tighter lows, detailed mids and smooth clipping characteristics. A very cool tone with an earlier breakup!

If your amp is the Combo version please message us and we will send the JJ 6L6GCDM special "Double Mica" tubes. These are tubes made especially for Eurotubes with double mica spacers in the top to reduce tube rattle.
