Roswell Pro Audio Mini K47 Matched Pair

The Mini K47 is a large-diaphragm condenser mic with Roswell Pro Audio's K47 capsule. The mic's natural sonic color comes from the capsule, which is tuned to capture midrange detail. The color complements voices, acoustic strings, electric guitar, piano, banjo, ukelele, and more.

To make matched pairs, we analyse and hand-match Mini K47s to 0.5dB in sensitivity (measured at 1kHz), and  1.5dB or better in frequency response, 50Hz–15kHz. We hold our matched pairs to higher tolerances than we've seen in $2000 pairs from our competitors, because our more-selective matching process ensures the best 3D imaging and sense of space in your stereo recordings.
Matched pairs are ideal for drum overheads, piano, drum room, and ensemble recording. Needless to say, either mic in the pair can also be used for all the sources on which the Mini K47 shines: vocals, acoustic strings, electric guitar, basses, etc.

“The Mini K47s are absolute magic on overheads! Every live drummer needs to use Mini K47s." -Charles Martinez (FOH, Little Feat)

Mini K47 Matched Pairs are packed into a single compact flightcase with two Cutaway™ shockmounts and spare O-rings. We also include a pair of Roswell imprinted microfleece microphone socks to keep dust off the microphones between sessions.

Mics purchased via Reverb will ship directly from Roswell headquarters in northern California.

Hear the Mini K47 (and other Roswell microphones) in our studio livestream series, the "Virtual Showroom" (see Youtube or the Roswell Pro Audio website). The first three episodes feature LA artists Iron Point recording an entire song through the Mini K87 and Mini K47; we've provided downloadable stems of both Mini K models on vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion, and drum OH, to enable comparison listening.
