Peavey Classic 50 Tweed Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Want that vintage Tweed tone with lots of headroom? This is our Tweed Option Retube kit and it contains a premium matched quad of JJ Electronic EL84's for power along with a JJ 12AY7 for V1, a standard ECC83S's for V2 and a high current ECC83S for V3. The Tweed Option will drop the gain down a bit more than the SRV Option allowing you to get more power tube breakup at higher volumes. The JJ 12AY7 has a fat warm tone with a big shimmering sparkle in the high end!

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

Just message us at the time you order to let us know if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.
