Xotic Guitars XS-2 Silver Flip Flop (2014)

Handcrafted by skilled artisans in California, USA, Xotic Guitars has earned immense trust from top musicians and session players worldwide.

We are proud to present the XS-2, a 2014 model featuring Xotic's iconic dinky-shape body—a model renowned for being used by acclaimed guitarist Yuya Komoguchi!

In recent years, Xotic has surged in popularity thanks to endorsements from top guitarists like Allen Hinds. Handcrafted in California—the heartland of electric guitar manufacturing—Xotic guitars are highly praised for their exceptional aging craftsmanship and perfectly balanced tone.

The first thing that grabs your attention is the striking "Silver Flip Flop" finish. This unique color shifts subtly depending on the light and viewing angle, displaying a sophisticated, pearlescent shimmer that looks absolutely stunning on stage.

This model features a classic Alder body paired with a comfortable C-shape Maple neck. The fingerboard is made of beautifully figured Birdseye Maple, offering a smooth feel and outstanding durability. Equipped with medium-jumbo frets, it perfectly meets the demands of modern players.

For hardware, it comes equipped with Sperzel Trem-Locking tuners for renowned tuning stability, a Gotoh 510TS bridge, and Raw Vintage saddles and springs as standard equipment—delivering high-level balance across resonance, sustain, and precise intonation.

The versatile SSH pickup configuration covers everything from clear, delicate single-coil tones to punchy, high-quality humbucker sounds. The pickup setup is premium: loaded with Lindy Fralin Very Hot (VH) single-coils and a Bare Knuckle The Mule humbucker, making this guitar gig-ready for both studio work and live performances.

Condition

While there are minor signs of use, such as light scratches and small dings given its ~12-year age, it remains in overall clean condition with no major noticeable damage.

Truss Rod: Plenty of room in both directions.

Frets: Approx. 70% remaining.

Electronics: Fully functional with no scratchy pots or noise issues.
