The Alesis SR-16 is a durable and versatile programmable drum machine suited to songwriting, practice, recording and live performance. Its collection of 233 drum and percussion sounds covers acoustic, electronic and auxiliary percussion, while 12 velocity-sensitive pads allow expressive real-time playing and pattern programming. Patterns can be arranged into complete songs, and MIDI, stereo outputs, auxiliary outputs and headphone connections make it easy to integrate with a wide variety of equipment. The included Boss FS-6 dual footswitch adds convenient hands-free performance control. Its two independently configurable switches can operate the SR-16’s Start/Stop and Count/A/B/Fill functions, allowing a performer to begin or stop playback, trigger fills, switch pattern variations and enter tempos without reaching for the drum machine. The package includes the SR-16, Boss FS-6, power supply, manuals, assorted connecting and audio cables, and a foam-lined suitcase-style carrying case. The equipment and case show cosmetic wear from previous use, and handwritten song and pattern reference notes remain inside the case.
