Remo Ambassador SMT Coated Tom Drumhead

The Ambassador SMT Coated is a pre-muffled drumhead specifically designed for floor toms. When paired with metal flanged counter hoops, this head provides a short, punchy, bass drum-like sound, perfect for drummers who want deep, controlled tones.

Premium Construction and Added Warmth

Building on the classic Ambassador platform, the SMT Coated version offers enhanced control and a warmer sonic profile:

• Coated Single-Ply Film: Constructed with a 10-mil coated film that provides a warmer tone and increased stick articulation compared to clear heads.
• Internal SMT Dampening: Features an integrated SMT dampening ring that effectively suppresses unwanted overtones for a focused, "pre-EQ'd" sound.
• Enhanced Durability: Includes a top-surface dot for extra strength and a more pronounced attack at the point of impact.

Deep Low-End Performance

This head is engineered to maximize the sub-low frequencies of larger drums:

• Punchy Response: Specifically designed to add significant low-end punch to floor toms, giving them a powerful, foundational presence.
• Size Options: Available in 16" and 18" sizes to fit standard and deep floor tom configurations.

The Ambassador SMT Coated is the ideal solution for drummers seeking a floor tom sound that is deep, warm, and exceptionally controlled.
