This guitar received the full Ibanez Rules Platinum service package—the highest level offered. It includes everything from the lower tiers plus the most extensive hand finishing:

•  Complete expert fret level on a precision StewMac box beam, crowned under 1 mm, and finished to absolute mirror polish

•  Hand-filed fret ends rounded from the wood up to the crown with a jeweler’s file (as close to a perfect ball as hand work allows—approaching J Custom style), then refined with a diamond crowning file

•  Fretboard edges scrape-rounded with a razor blade, sanded on the round, then fully smoothed and polished

•  Full radius matching, nut work, string alignment, action set to 1.5 mm with no choking notes, and every known Ibanez-specific detail debugged

As the shop owner puts it after Platinum work: there is nothing left that can be done to make the instrument any better. The matte finish remains completely untouched, and the frets and edges are smoother and more comfortable than factory Prestige.
