Description

The Ernie Ball Music Man Saber Rabea Massaad Artist Series electric guitar offers you innovative features and a stylish design for crafting your own signature tone. Developed in collaboration with guitarist Rabea Massaad, this Saber guitar provides effortless playability and versatile sound with its custom-tapered neck, recessed lower horn for upper-fret access and push-push electronics to switch between humbucker and single-coil tones.

Premium Design for Progressive Players

The Saber Rabea Massaad was crafted to meet the demanding needs of progressive rock and metal guitarists. Its offset body is contoured for comfort while the recessed lower horn allows unfettered access to upper frets. The maple neck has a custom taper that gets thinner as you move up, facilitating complex chords and lightning-fast leads. Glow-in-the-dark side dots make navigating the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard a breeze on dimly lit stages.

Shape Your Signature Sound

The Saber comes equipped with a custom Ernie Ball Music Man tremolo and a pair of Rabea Massaad signature Bare Knuckle "Silo" humbuckers for articulate, balanced tone with singing sustain. Push-push electronics activate the coils in positions one and five for shimmering single-coil tones. A five-way selector switch provides instant access to a range of humbucker and single-coil combinations. Whether you want to recreate Rabea's progressive metal tones or forge your own sound, the Saber gives you the tools.

Single-Coil Switching Adds Bright, Snappy Sounds

The Saber's electronics feature push-push pots that activate single-coil modes for the neck and bridge pickups. In position one, the neck pickup becomes a single-coil for sparkling, chimey tones. At position five, the bridge pickup switches to a single-coil as well, supplying a bright, cutting sound. These single-coil options, combined with the humbuckers and 5-way switch, supply a wide tonal palette to suit any genre or style.
