The Sandberg Florence Nova Bass is the latest evolution of Sandberg’s artistry and craftsmanship — a modern, expressive instrument that expands on the character of the original Florence series. Designed as a full-scale reinterpretation of the model, the Florence Nova offers a sleek 34″ scale length paired with a choice of 24 frets or fretless, giving players a contemporary feel with extended musical range.

Its 5-piece, 6-bolt neck blends Canadian hard rock maple with mahogany for exceptional stability and tonal depth, while the matte finish highlights the natural beauty of its construction. The bass is available in premium tonewood pairings, including flamed maple over alder or koa over mahogany, offering both visual richness and distinctive tonal flavors.

A single soapbar pickup with a wooden cover delivers a warm, articulate voice that responds effortlessly to dynamics. The passive control layout keeps things simple and musical, featuring a volume/tone setup with a push/pull option that provides two uniquely voiced tone cuts. Combined with Sandberg’s high-quality hardware and single-bridge design, the Florence Nova feels solid, resonant, and ready for the stage.
