Taylor 410ce, natural gloss, made in USA 2014. This is a beauty! For those who need a quick rundown, Taylor stuff goes up in quality as the model numbers get higher, so 400 series guitars are USA-made, all-solid construction and fetch a fair few freedombuxx brand new. This one dates to 2014, but it's really in pretty remarkable shape for a working player's guitar. It's got a tightly grained, high grade Sitka Spruce top, but the real showstopper is the gorgeous solid Ovangkol back and sides: my oh my, that's something to look at. Ovangkol is an African species in the Rosewood family, so it delivers plenty of low end oomph, but adds a certain fast percussive punch and airy dryness to the tone that differs from the Indian stuff. This is a very clear sounding guitar: sparkling crisp tops, breathy mids, piano-like lows... very classy, and great for bothy fingerstyle and strummed parts. The neck has that signature Taylor electric-like feel too, it's a breeze in the hands. If you're after a sturdy gig guitar with a bit of class, this is just the ticket.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major masrk. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear and scuffs on the back only. The back has minor dimples on the top shoulder and some minor scuffs along the top edge and in the middle of the body. The sides have minor scuffs near the knobs, minor rub wear in the elbow area, minor scuffs around the jack and some dimples on the bottom bout. The front has a small dent between the bridge and back edge and below the pickguard as well as minor play wear on the guard and shoulders.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Setup with 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
