Up for sale is this beautiful Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Hardtail in Shell Pink with a factory Closet Classic finish and gold hardware. Built for Fender’s 2024 collection celebrating 70 years of the Stratocaster, this limited-edition instrument combines classic 1954 appointments with several desirable modern features.

This particular example features a two-piece ash body, quartersawn maple neck, three Custom Shop Hand-Wound ‘54 Strat pickups, and a vintage-style hardtail bridge. The neck features a comfortable 70th Anniversary profile with a 7.25”–9.5” compound-radius fingerboard and 21 medium-vintage frets. The beautiful Shell Pink lacquer finish features Fender’s factory Super Faded/Aged treatment, including subtle lacquer checking that gives the guitar an authentic vintage appearance.

The guitar is in excellent, essentially unplayed condition with no fret wear. Any visible finish checking or aging is part of the original Fender Custom Shop treatment rather than subsequent wear or damage. The guitar is completely original and includes its original G&G 70th Anniversary hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, Fender Custom Shop floor traveler, and accompanying paperwork and accessories.

This was recently given a pro setup with a set of 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action, and accurate intonation.
