.strandberg* Sälen Classic NX 6 Tremolo – Black Granite

A fusion of traditional single-cut styling and innovation. An evolved Sälen featuring powerful HH pickups and a tremolo system.

Introduced in 2018, the Sälen combines the traditional styling of a single-cut guitar with .strandberg*'s innovative, ergonomically driven design.

Building on this iconic design, the Sälen Classic NX 6 Tremolo adds a powerful HH pickup configuration and an EGS Rev7 tremolo bridge. It offers a different take on the Sälen, designed for today's technical players seeking a deeper, more powerful voice.

Powerful, Rich HH Tones

Hum Hot & Hum Vintage Pickups

The bridge position features the high-output Hum Hot pickup, while the neck position is equipped with the harmonically rich Hum Vintage. This combination delivers a powerful tonal character that sets it apart from the traditional single-coil image of the Sälen, covering everything from thick, singing lead tones to weighty, aggressive riffs.

Versatile 5-Way Switching

From the full, powerful response of the humbuckers to delicate clean tones achieved through combinations of inner- and outer-coil splitting, the five-way selector offers a broad range of tonal possibilities in a single instrument.

A Major Evolution with NX Specifications

Rev 7 Tremolo Hardware

The guitar features the newly designed Rev 7 tremolo bridge and string-locking system. These upgrades provide excellent tuning stability and smoother tremolo operation. Maintenance has also been improved, allowing for more intuitive adjustments.

Nyatoh Body & Maple Neck

The body is crafted from nyatoh, chosen for its balanced tonal characteristics. A carbon-fiber-reinforced maple neck is paired with a beautiful birdseye maple fingerboard, delivering a tight response and clear note definition.

Ultimate Ergonomics: EndurNeck

EndurNeck Profile

.strandberg*'s distinctive trapezoidal neck profile is designed to accommodate the natural movements of the fretting hand. It helps reduce wrist strain and supports consistent performance during extended playing sessions, while encouraging a more natural hand position. EndurNeck is one of the defining features of the .strandberg* design philosophy.

Multi-Scale Design & Stainless Steel Frets

The multi-scale fretboard provides string tension tailored to each string. Stainless steel frets come standard, offering excellent wear resistance and a consistently smooth playing feel.

Refined Black Granite Finish

The Black Granite acrylic satin finish delivers a matte, premium appearance. Combined with black satin hardware, it gives the guitar a sleek, commanding presence on stage.
