The Vahlbruch Kaluna is a hand-built analog tube overdrive and distortion guitar pedal designed in Germany by Dr. Henning Vahlbruch.
This example is in near unused condition and comes with original box and documentation.
Key Features
• Real Tube Voltage: Features a genuine ECC83 / 12AX7 double-triode tube running internally at a true 250 volts (generated up from a standard 9V DC input).
• Power Requirement: Requires an external 9V DC power supply with a minimum of 500 mA.
• Controls: Features intuitive Drive and Volume knobs, alongside a responsive, post-tube 3-band active EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) offering ±12 dB of boost or cut.
• MagTraB Switching: Uses Vahlbruch's proprietary "MagTraB" magnetic touch-sensitive footswitch technology with a gold-plated relay for silent, ultra-durable switching.
• Tube Warm-Up: When powered on, the status LED flashes for 30 seconds while the tube warms up in bypass mode.
