【used】moon / JB-5 Black TSC mod 4.715kg #34251【GIB Yokohama】【price included SHIPPING & IMPORT TAX & VAT】

Moon is a leading, long-established guitar brand in Japan.

It is highly regarded by many professional artists, and Larry Graham and Mitsuru Sudo are known to be users of the brand. (Titles omitted)

This model is the JB-5, a flagship model that has received high acclaim.

The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fretboard is ebony.

This all-black ebony is now extremely rare.

The pickups and preamp have been replaced.

While the exact model numbers could not be determined, the pickup sound is powerful and dynamic, similar to a Delano JMVC, and the preamp has a relatively natural sound but with a wide EQ range.

Also, due to the layout, the treble and middle controls are on a plate on the body surface, and the bass control is operated by a slider on the back of the body.

The modification was done by TSC, a guitar workshop in Osaka, and the workmanship is very meticulous.

True to Moon's reputation, the ultra-smooth playability is the most distinctive feature of this model, providing an excellent feel for both fingerstyle and slap playing.

The bouncy, responsive feel is impressive, making this bass a joy to play.

For those seeking a high-quality 5-string JB-type bass, this is a great opportunity.

Fret life is approximately 80%.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches of about 1.5cm.

The electronics are in good condition.

The pickups and preamp have been replaced with unknown components.
