Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers 6-String Set Gold

The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers 6-String Set in Gold pairs an alnico neck pickup with a ceramic bridge pickup, and each one has three voices. That's six distinct sounds from a two-pickup guitar. Fishman's Multi-Voice technology lets you move between them, from high-output active humbucker tones to clean single-coil sounds, without changing pickups again. The nickel finish gives the set a classic look that suits almost any build.

The Modern Alnico is built for the neck. Its first voice is a boosted, full active tone that stays articulate and dynamic under heavy gain. Voice two switches to a crisp, clean humbucker sound with real body, without the thin, plinky quality many neck humbuckers have. Voice three is a glassy single-coil tone with clarity to spare. Chords stay full, and leads stay fluid.

The Modern Ceramic handles the bridge with tight, cutting attack. Its active voice delivers searing crunch, a firm low end with no mud, and plenty of growl. The second voice changes to a high-output passive ceramic tone that distorts well while keeping the Fluence dynamic response. The third is a bright, clear single-coil sound. Traditional wire-wound pickups pick up buzz and lose tone to inductance. These active pickups stay nearly silent at any volume, through long cable runs, and at high gain. Whether you're a modern metal player, a hard rock guitarist who needs clean tones too, or a builder upgrading a project guitar, the Fluence Modern set covers a lot of ground.
