About this particular guitar

This guitar came to Butler Music directly from the folks at Michael Kelly. It was a sample instrument that spent several years in their warehouse before being sold to us as B-stock.

Our technician went over it from top to bottom. It is in like-new overall condition apart from a couple of some finish marks and a few minor scratches from handling. These cosmetic imperfections make this an appealing opportunity to get a versatile, distinctive guitar at a B-stock price.

The listing photos show the actual guitar you will receive.

Michael Kelly Forte Exotic JE Java Ebony Acoustic Electric Guitar MKFESJESFX

Description

Striking Java ebony looks meet an innovative acoustic design! The Michael Kelly Forte Exotic JE is an acoustic-electric guitar with plenty of visual personality and the flexibility to move from unplugged practice to amplified performance.

Its beautifully patterned Java ebony top is complemented by satin black back and sides, black binding, and matching hardware. The result is a distinctive instrument that looks equally at home onstage or in your collection.

Michael Kelly’s Port Technology moves the main soundhole off center, leaving more uninterrupted soundboard area. A player-facing side soundhole helps you hear the guitar’s response, while the deep cutaway provides convenient access to the upper frets.

When it’s time to plug in, the Fishman pickup and preamp system brings amplified versatility to rehearsals, recording, and live performances.
