Ibanez TOD10N-PAF Tim Henson Signature

With the Ibanez TOD10N-PAF, Ibanez presents the signature model of Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson: an exceptional nylon-string guitar that combines modern design, high playing comfort and innovative sound possibilities. The semi-solid, extra-slim FRH body shape with cutaway ensures a comfortable playing experience and provides the ideal conditions for demanding techniques. Thanks to the integrated pickup, the guitar’s characteristic sound can be reliably amplified at any time. A matching gig bag is also included to ensure safe transport.

Partially Solid FRH

The Ibanez TOD10N-PAF impresses with an expressive tone that is perfectly tailored to Tim Henson’s virtuoso playing style. The solid Sitka spruce top gives the tone a quick response, a pronounced overtone spectrum and precise articulation, whilst the laminated sapele back and sides provide warm mids and a pleasant fullness. The tonal concept is complemented by the soundport integrated into the side, which offers the player a particularly direct and spacious listening experience. The result is an exceptionally defined, dynamic sound that impressively showcases both delicate fingerstyle playing and modern percussive techniques.

Slim design

Furthermore, the guitar has been consistently designed for maximum playing comfort and feels instantly familiar, particularly to electric guitarists. The extra-slim FRH body sits comfortably close to the body, ensuring a relaxed playing experience even during longer sessions. With a nut width of just 46 mm, the fingerboard is significantly narrower than on conventional classical guitars, facilitating quick chord changes and demanding solo passages. The comfortable C-shaped neck profile supports a natural hand position and ensures smooth playing in every position. The ergonomic design is rounded off by the generous cutaway, which allows effortless access to the higher frets.

Fishman S-Core

Equipped with the Fishman S-Core pickup, the Ibanez TOD10N-PAF delivers a natural and balanced acoustic tone that authentically conveys the tonal characteristics of the nylon strings. The system impresses with a clear response, high dynamics and a transparent sound. Signal processing is handled by the Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp, which features intuitive tone controls as well as a built-in tuner. This allows the sound to be quickly adapted to different playing situations at any time, whilst ensuring the guitar remains perfectly in tune at all times.

Custom Design

Visually, the model emphasises its modern signature character with an extraordinary combination of elegant and striking design elements. The Pearl Pink Flat Finish is a real highlight and, with its warm colouring, creates an extraordinary radiance. High-quality pearloid binding stylishly rounds off the contours and emphasises the exclusive craftsmanship. The unmistakable eye-catcher is the Tree of Death inlay on the fingerboard, inspired by Tim Henson, which gives the instrument a distinctive look and perfectly reflects the unique style of the Polyphia guitarist.
