One-owner 1999 Ovation Celebrity CC057 cutaway acoustic-electric in classic Black. Bought new and cared for ever since.
The Celebrity line pairs a solid spruce top with Ovation's signature Lyrachord super-shallow roundback bowl — it hugs your body and throws more volume than its slim profile suggests. Unplugged it's bright and punchy with that unmistakable Ovation "glass" chime; plugged in, the built-in OP-20 preamp gives 3-band EQ (treble/mid/bass) and a gain control for a clean, feedback-resistant stage tone.
Specs:
• Model: Celebrity CC057 (cutaway)
• Finish: Black
• Top: Spruce
• Body: Lyrachord super-shallow roundback bowl
• Neck: Mahogany
• Fingerboard: Rosewood
• Electronics: Ovation OP-20 preamp — 3-band EQ + gain (piezo pickup)
• Made in Korea
Condition: Very Good for its age. No cracks or repairs; neck straight and truss rod functional. Cosmetic wear as pictured; a light scratch on the lower bout (bowl), light finish wear on the headstock, and a few small dings/swirls consistent with 25+ years of normal play. Electronics tested and fully functional. Includes a hardshell case (case shows typical scuffs/scratches).
