Classic shape. Modern aggression. One pickup. Zero compromises.

Some guitars are built to follow tradition. Others are designed to tear it apart. The ESP LTD TE-201 in Black Satin takes one of the most recognizable electric guitar silhouettes in history and transforms it into a sleek, high-performance machine built for modern rock and metal.

Combining classic single-cutaway styling with aggressive LTD attitude, the TE-201 delivers powerful tone, lightning-fast playability, and stripped-down simplicity without the premium price tag.

Featuring a resonant mahogany body, fast-playing three-piece maple neck, 24 extra-jumbo frets, and a powerful ESP LH-150B humbucker, this guitar offers everything you need to unleash crushing rhythms, aggressive leads, and expressive clean passages.

With its sinister Black Satin finish, stealthy black hardware, and contrasting antique nickel pickup cover, the TE-201 proves that a traditional design can still have a seriously dangerous side.

Old-school silhouette. New-school firepower. Pure LTD attitude.

Black Satin – Classic Design with a Dark Side

The first thing you'll notice about the LTD TE-201 is its unmistakable combination of timeless styling and modern aggression.

Its sleek Black Satin finish gives the classic TE body shape a bold, understated personality, while contrasting black hardware reinforces the guitar's stripped-down appearance.

The traditional single-cutaway design features a resonant mahogany body, providing a warm, powerful tonal foundation with rich midrange character and excellent sustain.

Unlike conventional vintage-inspired instruments, the TE-201 embraces a more aggressive approach with its modern appointments and high-performance construction.

A single antique nickel-covered bridge humbucker adds just enough visual contrast to create a distinctive appearance without disrupting the guitar's minimalist design.

No flashy decorations. No unnecessary controls.

Just six strings, serious tone, and unmistakable attitude.

Thin U Maple Neck – Built for Speed and Comfort

Beneath its traditional silhouette, the TE-201 features a neck designed for modern performance.

The three-piece maple neck uses traditional bolt-on construction and ESP's popular Thin U profile, delivering a comfortable, responsive playing feel that excels at everything from aggressive rhythm work to fast technical solos.

The sleek neck contour allows your fretting hand to move naturally across the fingerboard, making rapid chord changes, intricate riffs, and expressive lead passages feel effortless.

A premium roasted jatoba fingerboard features a 350 mm radius and 24 extra-jumbo frets, creating a smooth playing surface designed for precise articulation and comfortable bends.

Distinctive offset dot inlays give the fingerboard a clean, contemporary appearance that perfectly complements the guitar's aggressive styling.

With its traditional 25.5-inch scale length, the TE-201 delivers familiar string tension, crisp attack, and excellent note definition.

Whether you're playing fast punk rhythms, aggressive thrash riffs, or melodic rock solos, this neck is ready to keep up.

Classic comfort. Modern precision. Built to play fast.

ESP LH-150B – One Humbucker. Massive Tone.

The LTD TE-201 proves that a great guitar doesn't need a complicated electronics package to deliver exceptional sound.

Armed with a single ESP LH-150B bridge humbucker, this guitar provides the high-output punch, aggressive midrange attack, and powerful low-end response needed for hard rock and metal.

From crushing palm-muted riffs and massive power chords to aggressive lead passages, the LH-150B delivers thick, full-bodied tone with excellent articulation.

Its antique nickel pickup cover adds a vintage-inspired appearance that contrasts beautifully with the guitar's modern Black Satin finish.

But don't let the simple electronics fool you.

A convenient push/pull master volume control activates coil splitting, allowing you to switch from full humbucker power to a brighter, leaner single-coil-style sound.

Need thick distortion for heavy rhythms? Keep the humbucker engaged.

Looking for sharper cleans, punchy alternative rock tones, or a more articulate response? Pull the volume knob and explore another side of the guitar.

With just one pickup and one control, the TE-201 offers impressive versatility without unnecessary complexity.

Full humbucker aggression. Single-coil-style clarity. No distractions.

String-Through Hardtail – Rock-Solid Performance

A guitar built for demanding players needs dependable hardware, and the TE-201 delivers with an LTD fixed bridge featuring string-through-body construction.

This proven design provides solid string anchoring, accurate intonation, and a direct, responsive playing feel.

The string-through-body configuration creates a stable foundation for powerful rhythm playing, while the fixed-bridge design eliminates the complexity of a floating tremolo system.

Whether you're locking into tight, aggressive riffs or exploring alternate tunings, the straightforward bridge design makes adjustments and maintenance convenient.

LTD tuning machines provide smooth, dependable tuning, while the guitar's sturdy construction makes it a practical choice for rehearsals, studio work, and live performance.

Factory-equipped with D'Addario XL110 strings (.010-.046), the TE-201 delivers a familiar combination of comfortable tension, strong attack, and responsive playability.

Simple. Reliable. Ready to rock.

Vintage Inspiration. Modern Metal Personality.

The ESP LTD TE-201 is proof that classic guitar design and modern aggression belong together.

Its traditional TE-style silhouette offers familiar comfort and unmistakable character, while the powerful ESP LH-150B humbucker, fast Thin U neck, and 24 extra-jumbo frets bring the performance firmly into modern territory.

Whether you're playing hard rock, punk, alternative, metal, thrash, or anything in between, this guitar provides the punch, clarity, and playability needed to make your sound stand out.

And with its sleek Black Satin finish, black hardware, and distinctive antique nickel pickup cover, the TE-201 looks every bit as aggressive as it sounds.

It's straightforward. It's powerful. It's surprisingly versatile.

And it's unmistakably LTD.

Timeless design. Modern aggression. No unnecessary complications.
