Hand-wired 5F1 Tweed Champ head built around heavy-duty 1950s vintage power iron. Designed for ultra-quiet operation, studio tracking, and maximum vintage vibe, this head delivers classic single-ended 5W tweed grit, rich harmonic complexity, and warm, dynamic cleans.

Build Details & Technical Specs:

 Circuit: Classic 5F1 Tweed Champ topology (12AX7 preamp, 6V6GT power tube, 5Y3GT tube rectifier).

 Vintage Iron & Power Supply: Built around robust, high-grade vintage power iron known for superior core materials and long-term reliability. Power transformer is late 50s Pentron, paired with a dedicated 1950s Triad filament transformer to maintain ideal operating voltages and ultra-clean current.

 Output Transformer: Upgraded Carl’s Custom Amps 5-Watt single-ended OT featuring dual 4-Ohm and 8-Ohm secondary taps.

 Dual Output Jacks: Dedicated 4-Ohm and 8-Ohm output jacks for flexible cabinet pairing.

 Ultra-Quiet Lead Dress: Hand-wired point-to-point and eyelet assembly using single-conductor shielded cable on all high-impedance grid runs, local single-ended shield grounding, and tightly twisted 6.3V AC heater lines to eliminate hum.

 Cabinet & Finish: Custom pine head cabinet wrapped in heavy duck canvas and finished in genuine hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer, offering authentic vintage aesthetics and aging characteristics.

Condition: Brand new custom build using a mix of premium new components (MOD filter caps, upgraded OT) and hand-selected 1950s vintage iron. Tested, biased, and studio-ready.
